We believe that every woman and girl—no matter where or under what circumstances she lives—has a right to good health and nutrition.

Yet today, millions of women and girls do not have the support they need.

IN SUPPORT OF

Connecting the power of sport and philanthropy with the Gates Foundation and UNICEF, women’s tennis is helping mobilize fans in support of life-saving nutritional resources for women and children globally.

It’s time to rally for every mom, everywhere.

The WTA Foundation and its Global Women’s Health Fund has partnered with the Gates Foundation and UNICEF to mobilize lifesaving resources and shift how we think, talk and act on women’s health.

Every dollar raised through the campaign will support UNICEF’s Child Nutrition Fund and help to bring prenatal vitamins and other health and nutrition products and services directly into the hands of women in need around the world, giving children a healthy start in life. So far, we’ve reached over 1.5 million moms with the ambition to reach millions more.

Championships aren’t won overnight, but we’re committed to making the incremental progress needed to end this disparity within our lifetimes. By providing millions of moms in need with lifesaving prenatal vitamins, we are one step closer to closing the broader women’s health gap and giving millions of children a healthier start in life. We won’t accept defeat because in health, in sport, and in life — because women deserve equal opportunity, period.

Why prenatal vitamins?

The power of prenatal vitamins for women and children in low- and middle-income settings is astounding. When women take prenatal vitamins, it dramatically reduces the risk of stillbirth, newborn deaths, and babies being born small and vulnerable, and improves women’s health.

While most expectant moms in wealthy countries take prenatal vitamins throughout their pregnancies, fewer than one-in-ten women in low- and middle-income countries take a complete prenatal vitamin.

Together, we can change this. Donate today and your impact will be matched by a generous donor.

We can provide women in low- and middle-income countries with the prenatal vitamins they need for the entire course of their pregnancy for as little as $2.50.
